Local before arrival
The name is the concept: each hotel is dedicated to an artist, and in Berlin Mitte it’s the great Georg Baselitz. Original works of art by Baselitz are displayed throughout the hotel, which means you can enjoy his artwork during your stay—kind of like being locked in a gallery overnight, but much more comfortable. The hotel’s outer façade conceals a spacious restaurant and a bar in the glass-roofed atrium.
