Berlin gastronomy giants Martin Hötzl and Jesko Klatt catapulted The Grand into the first tier of the Berlin restaurant scene right after its opening. Built in 1842 and under landmark protection, this building is hard to recognize after its renovation: A pop-art-style bar is located off to one side next to a brick stone wall. The cuisine is upscale, but not over the top. Lobster, beef tartare, or truffle risotto—there is something for every taste.
