With their Miniloft, architects and proprietors Britta Jürgens and Matthew Griffin have designed a brand-new prize-winning hotel concept. By joining a new stainless steel, organically shaped structure with a restored turn-of-the-century building, they’ve created a single unit that accommodates 14 minimalistic one-room apartments measuring 325 to 540 square feet each. The architects pay particular attention to sustainability, from a consistent use of renewable energy to ecological cleaning products.
