Thomas Olbricht, too, relocated to the German capital with most of his collection of 2,500 works by Old Masters and contemporary artists. He designed the 35,800-sq.-ft. residential and exhibition building with Düttmann + Kleymann architects. The Olbricht Collection shows the themes of eros, death and vanitas from constantly new aspects in three exhibits each year. It is complemented by the Wunderkammer, a miscellany of antique items.
