Local before arrival
This small eatery, owned by award-winning Spanish chef Carles Abellán, serves favorites from the past: delicious stews, tapas, and classic home cooking from Catalonia and other regions in Spain—along with plenty of bread that diners can use to wipe their plates clean. To recreate the spirit of bygone times, Abellán converted an old bodega in Raval, which was considered a poor working-class neighborhood until the 1980s.
