Chefs Takeshi Somekawa and Albert Raurich and sommelier Tamae Imachi spent three, four, and eleven years respectively at Ferran Adrià’s El Bulli, perfecting their craft. Raurich was chef de cuisine from 2001–2007. In 2008, they opened Dos Palillos in the trendy Casa Camper Hotel located in the heart of the city. Exquisite Asian tapas are served at two counters. “Palillos,” referring both to Asian chopsticks and Spanish cocktail sticks, lend a humorous touch to the extravagant design.
