TSCHECHEN & SÖHNE
PHOTOS MAPS

Stuttgart is situated in a valley surrounded by lovely hills. One of the most beautiful and secluded places to enjoy the view is from a beer garden. The Karlshöhe beergarden is surrounded by vineyards in the Southwest part of the city. From there, you can see across the city below all the way to the famous TV tower and on clear days as far as the Neckar valley and the Schurwald. Once you have taken in the view, you can check out the iconic „refuge from the rain hall“ and terrace, designed by the architect Rolf Gutbrod. In 2004, the space was renovated with the local architectural preservation committee. In addition to coffee and cake, you can also try classical Swabian food and drinks in the beergarden such as „Maultaschen“, a local version of ravioli or a sausage salad and a fresh beer by the local Dinkelacker brewery.
