Local before arrival
The tent-like concrete roof of the well-known Tempodrom, designed by Meinhard von Gerkan, not only harbors two arenas, but also an urban spa: Liquidrom. Visitors can enjoy several saunas and steam baths, as well as a traditional open-air Japanese onsen baths, a bar, and a restaurant. The centerpiece is the darkened dome with its circulating saltwater pool. Dip your ears underwater and listen to soft music piped in through underwater speakers—a truly sensuous experience.
