In 2008, the architectural office b720 under the leadership of Fermín Vazques won the Europe-wide competition with his draft for the reimagining of this marketplace. Since 2013, the mirrored roof offers not just protection from the elements but also reflects the economic activity of Barcelona’s biggest and most famous flea market. With about 300 stands and businesses, you can find pretty much everything there: from old videocassettes to vintage jewelry.
