Local before arrival
As an act of liberation after the oppression by the Franco regime, five well-known architects established BD Barcelona Design in 1972 to introduce their contemporary furniture and home accessories. Over the years, the store has garnered many awards and has added names such as Mackintosh, Antoni Gaudí, and Salvador Dalí to its repertoire, which already included some of the best-known designers in the world. With the opening of a showroom in the 22@BCN district, the store is focusing more and more on selling its own products.
