In an idyllic rear courtyard in Charlottenburg, this gallery, named after Alfred Stieglitz’s eponymous magazine, houses the world’s most comprehensive archived collection of photographs and photography books on two floors. With temporary exhibitions of the works of such iconic figures as Irving Penn, Diane Arbus, and Richard Avedon, of well-known representatives from the contemporary scene, and of up-and-coming artists, visitors are treated to a comprehensive cross section of the world of photography.
