Visiting the Teufelsberg can be quite an adventure, taking into account its history. It came into being when a large part of the rubble that filled Berlins streets after World War II was deposited here. During the Cold War, the United States used it as a monitoring station. The ruins of this station can still be seen, as well as an impressive panorama of the Grunewald and all nearby districts. Personal guides offer two-hour hikes through the area.
