HELMUT NEWTON STIFTUNG IM MUSEUM FÜR FOTOGRAFIE
PHOTOS MAPS

This is more than just a monument to the achievements of Helmut and June Newton. The museum hosts regular exhibitions by other photo artists whose works enter into a dialog with the sometimes provocative works of H. Newton. In addition, this building located behind the Zoo train station is itself steeped in history: It was originally a casino for Prussian officers. The photographic collection from the National Museum’s Art Library is exhibited on the third floor in the restored Emperor’s Hall.
