Local before arrival
Far from the hordes of tourists and yet still close to the action, this gorgeous boutique hotel with 20 rooms and two apartments is located on the slopes of Montjuïc. The building originated in 1870 and was carefully restored to an understated modern oasis—the hard work of owner Christian Schallert. The hotel’s namesake is the first dandy, the British George “Beau” Brummell.
