Local before arrival
With its busy coming and going at the long copper bar, Zuni feels like a bistro in Paris or Rome. Reservations are recommended, but the bar and outdoor tables are available to walk-in guests. The heart of the restaurant is the open kitchen with its wood-fired oven, where all meals are prepared in plain view. Inspired by French and Italian cuisine, Zuni has been one of the city’s classic culinary establishments since 1979. Be sure to try the roasted chicken with warm bread salad.
