Opened in 2009 by Brooklyn-based sisters Catherine and Jane Virga, this gorgeously-crafted bar and restaurant draws a stylish mix to the heart of Bushwick. Up front, Jane’s ceramic wall tiles and classic globe chandeliers evoke the design sensibilities of Art Deco and the Arts & Crafts Movement, while the back room emits an energy geared toward psychedelia and disco. Come in for a taste of the delicious comfort food like mac & cheese or meatballs, well worth the long subway ride here.
