BUSHWICK COLLECTIVE
PHOTOS MAPS

Colorful murals cover the walls of this open-air gallery, whose white walls in this case are the bricks of old factory buildings in the industrial hub of Bushwick in Brooklyn. Running from Jefferson Avenue to Wyckoff Avenue, a versatile range of street art from respected contributors such as Gaia, Hellbent, and Pixel Pancho lays splashed across the façades of steel plants and manufacturers. Started by neighborhood native Joseph Ficalora, the Collective is both a tribute to the daring artistic medium as well as a testament to the positive changes that have taken place in a once dangerous neighborhood.
