Local before arrival
The initial architecture of the bath by Reinhold Kiehl followed the classic model of ancient thermal baths and represents in its generosity one of the most beautiful bathing houses in Berlin. The large and the small indoor swimming pool with its basins framed by travertine pillars were originally intended to enable women and men separate bathing. In the year 1984, the landmarked building was enhanced by a sauna area.
