Local before arrival
High on top of a shopping mall, the former roof of a parking garage has been transformed into a green oasis for relaxing and celebrating. As soon as the temperatures rise, people can be found pottering around in what is essentially organized as a democratic community garden. The children play in the sand corner, you can drink some lemonade (and later on cocktails) and watch the sun go down—which looks even more spectacular over the rooftops of Neukölln than it sounds. DJs often play here as guests in the evenings, and occasionally readings and film screenings are also hosted.
