Local before arrival
Choreographer Sasha Waltz and colleagues founded this performance and production house for independent theater in 1996. The stage is located in the former artisan clubhouse where Karl Liebknecht made his 1918 call to arms in view of the impending revolution. Performances from different ensembles and genres are staged regularly in this hall with its characteristic arches, ranging from dance and performance theater to music and the visual arts. Festivals such as “Tanztage Berlin” also reside here.
