Local before arrival
The third branch of the “rock ’n’ roll designer” opened in what was formerly CBGB club on the Bowery, the birthplace of punk. As an homage to the legendary club, part of the original wall, covered with graffiti and tattered posters, was kept and preserved behind glass like a museum exhibit. Live performances by underground bands on a small stage keep the old club spirit alive.
