Er Filettaro lies on a lovely square near Campo dei Fiori. It could not be any more Italian than in this restaurant, which has fried stockfish as main specialty. Most of the time, the guests simply call to the waiter how many fillets they would like to have, and immediately a big plate arrives from which everyone can eat one’s fill with ease. One could also order the juicy fillets as takeaway, but the atmosphere in the always-crowded restaurant is priceless.
