Local before arrival
The DAM at the Museum Shore in Frankfurt is the first museum for architecture in Europe. This Wilhelminian-style villa was remodeled from 1979 until 1984 according to a concept by the architect Oswald Mathias Ungers. The cubistic construction “house in house” exemplifies the essential stylistic devices of this well-respected designer.
