In Campari’s own locally branded bar, you can watch the hustle and bustle in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Founded in 1915, Verdi and Toscanini once retired here after the La Scala performances. Orlando Chiari manages Camparino with his wife Teresa Miani, whose father acquired the appropriate license in 1943. The bar can still be seen in all of its Art Nouveau splendor, having its 100-year anniversary—just in time at Expo 2015.
