A traditional after-work meeting point, this quaint pub has been family-owned and operated by a real old-school hostess until recently. Not far from the border crossing, this was a popular meeting point for trade before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Cheap beer for West German retirees, convertible currency for East Germans. The waitresses still serve in aprons and bonnets. The oldest bowling alley in town is still in operation here – be prepared to set up the pins yourself.
