Although his style was scarcely appreciated during his lifetime, today the works of Vincent van Gogh draw countless visitors to Amsterdam. Nowhere else on earth can you find so many of his paintings under one roof as in the capital of the Netherlands. The Van Gogh Museum exhibits many of this genius’ paintings, including “The Potato Eaters” from his early, dark phase, his self portraits from his time in Paris, and his famous sunflower paintings from his time in Provence.
