Wittgenstein, Freud, Da Vinci, Epicus—each of the 38 rooms and suites is dedicated to a different thinker or philosophical topic. Every room is different, yet they all feature vibrant colors: blue, red, and purple, from carpet to wallpaper. The style is equally as bold, ranging from baroque to classic to modern. Perhaps designers were inspired by the environment because the hotel is located close to the Museumkwartier district, Amsterdam’s center for art and culture.
