Built for the 1929 International Exposition, the aerial tramway to Montjuïc isn’t for visitors who are afraid of heights. Everyone else is rewarded with breathtaking views as the gondola glides over La Barceloneta, cruise ships anchored in the harbor, and the World Trade Center. Attractions at the top of Montjuïc include Fundació Joan Miró (well worth a visit) and Mies van der Rohe’s pavilion built for the International Exposition.
