The customers at this sushi restaurant are mostly regulars—one visit and you’ll become a lifelong friend (Tomo means “friend” in Japanese). The chef, Chitoshi Takahashi, values both authentic cuisine and a personal atmosphere. Located at the tip of the Raffles Hotel’s glass pyramid, we recommend sitting at the dark-wooden tables on the outdoor terrace, without shoes and cross-legged. Here, the warm orange glow of the small table lanterns almost outshines the city lights.
