In 1957, Tang Yong opened a store for Chinese products. Still family-owned, it has evolved into a six-floor department store. It sells everything you might need for authentic Chinese living, with goods ranging from instant noodles, lychee drinks, tea services, and bamboo steamer baskets to singing bowls, incense, and satin dresses. If you stop by Le Fou Fow on the 2nd floor, you’ll find a few tables with a view of the canal and the best Japanese ramen soup this side of Tokyo.
