Local before arrival
Established 25 years ago, Escape is one of the oldest clubs in the city and an institution in Amsterdam’s nightlife. Opened initially as a classic disco, Escape on the Rembrandtplein was expanded several times over the years and is now a mixture of café, restaurant, lounge bar, studio, and cool club with the best sounds, light installations, and visuals. On the weekends, DJs, LJs, and VJs present a wide variety of events on two dance floors.
