Local before arrival
Between the East Village and Little Italy, a new district has claimed a name: NoLIta (North of Little Italy). The Nolitan has become one of the corner stones of this bustling neighborhood. The 55 rooms in the first luxury boutique hotel in this part of town are mostly small, but bright and clean. Many have their own private balconies. The sun deck offers views onto the nearby streets of what is rapidly developing into one of the hippest quarters in New York.
