Local before arrival
In the former coffee capital of the world, cafés are a dime a dozen, but only this one does its own roasting. The roasting machine on the upstairs floor is the pride of the manager, Ton, and gives a special finish to the Brazilian beans. The cozy sofas and delicious homemade cakes have made the café so popular it has spawned a small chain. The international clique of business people who live in the surrounding neighborhood also feel comfortable here.
