Local before arrival
One of the largest parks in the city is situated on the former site of a citadel. This beautiful green park houses the Parliament of Catalonia, many children’s play areas, a small lake with rowing boats, a waterfall, and the zoological museum. The zoo occupies a large section of the park. With its exotic world of plants, Ciutadella is the perfect place to kick back, wander or have a picnic.
