“I made this place cool. Before me, there wasn’t really anything here,” says Yasha Michelson. The Russo-Israeli immigrant created this cult café cum ballet school with his wife and daughter, giving the entire neighborhood a breath of fresh air. The café has become a favorite amongst locals, impressing with its industrial steel and wood interiors, not to mention a damn good cup of Joe. Guests can even watch the dancers training in the hall from the upstairs area.
