In the 1980s, Kamil Majer moved to the United States from the Czech town Karlovy Vary, and followed the proverbial career path from dishwasher to…restaurateur. The breakfast he serves in his Blu Jam café is one of the best in the city. The menu features hearty omelets and eggs Benedict, with delicious variations like spinach and salmon. Regular patrons adore the French toast. Late risers will be happy to know that the eatery serves breakfast and lunch far into the afternoon.
