This is where the local music scene hangs out—Optimal has been a central destination for many Munich labels, musicians, DJs, and music lovers since 1982. Countless international artists have also visited and paid tribute to this institution. What’s special about it is the enormous breadth of genres; nearly any record can be ordered. The major magazines and a great selection of literature are also available.
