It doesn’t get better than this: A socially sustainable concept, a top-notch kitchen, and first-rate design. The “Training Restaurant for Disadvantaged Youths” created by Munich restaurateurs Sandra Forster, Markus Frankl, and Michi Kern is a stroke of genius. Their trainees run the friendly and comfortable Roecklplatz with both heart and common sense. The interior design is by Nitzan Cohen, who received the City of Munich’s 2011 Design Award, and features pieces by Konstantin Grcic.
