Agnes Husslein-Arco spearheaded the effort to revamp the collections of the Belvedere with significant works by Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, and Oskar Kokoschka presented in the Upper Belvedere. The Carlone Hall features an expansive fresco painted by Carlo Innocenzo Carlone in 1722/23, while the Kammergarten contains sculptures by Alfred Hrdlicka, Franz West, and Dan Graham. The huge collection of important art proves a visit to the Oberes Belvedere is something that can’t be missed.
