Local before arrival
Before the Neuköllner Oper ensemble moved to its current premises in Saalbau Neukölln in 1988, it had already been around for twelve years, going from venue to venue. The artists have created a program that aims to provide an alternative to classical opera, performing musical theater in their newly interpreted musical and operetta style, in what used to be the Rixdorf ballroom. The program also includes pieces for children and young people.
