Even though this small village, founded in 1737 by Protestant refugees from Bohemia, is now part of the big city, it still seems to belong to a different era. You can wander down the cobblestone streets, past picturesque houses with green shutters and well-tended flower gardens. The Comenius Garden, the Bethlehem Church, and a small museum, originally opened as a school in 1753, tell the story of an interconnected Bohemian and German history. The historic forge at Richard Place is still in operation today.
