Ensconced in both Berlin history and nature, you can refresh your knowledge of German politics at Motel One Bellevue. Since the official Federal President seat is in the beautiful Bellevue Castle next door, here you can find a gallery of all 12 presidents who have occupied the post. Located on the northern edge of the Tiergarten and close to the Victory Column, the Reichstag building and the Brandenburg Gate, there are two more Berlin cultural institutions in the immediate vicinity. The "Tipi am Kanzleramt", known for its vaudeville, musical and cabaret performances, and the House of World Cultures, also known as the "Schwangere Auster" (Pregnant Oyster) due to its memorable architecture, offering a variety of concerts and exhibitions.
