Europe’s fastest elevator soars at 28 feet per second, shooting up to the the viewing platforms of Kollhoff-Tower’s 24th and 25th floors. An open-air display tells the dynamic story of Potsdamer Platz, a wasteland after World War II, which was then one giant construction zone through the 1990s.
