Behind stacks of wine bottles and large-scale artwork, owner René Maschkiwitz serves Spanish-French fusion cuisine, including tapas with plenty of garlic. Checkered tablecloths and candlelight create a romantic and rustic atmosphere. The bar downstairs is a favorite amongst locals for nightcaps, designed in a style reminiscent of an English gentlemen’s club. Gin aficionados will enjoy the assortment of 59 different types, available for sampling in the restaurant’s own library.
