The Zurich locals love their green spaces. During the war, they used the Josefswiese as a space for farming. Now, on sunny days, families, teenagers and seniors romp around this oasis, which is located directly behind the railroad viaduct. Cool folks sip cold beer, athletes test their skills on the volleyball court or ping-pong table, families make use of the fountain or the playground. All in all, a great place to enjoy a crispy grilled sausage while watching city dwellers in their natural habitat.
