Local before arrival
Gartensalon is in the middle of the lively Maxvorstadt area, in a passageway connecting Amalienstraße and Türkenstraße, yet it’s extremely quiet. Breakfast or the “Lunch Box Deluxe” are especially delicious at this oasis. Anglophile Ines Stöhr prepares soft drinks, marmalade, and scones to original English recipes. The shop also holds small works of art and objects by various artists—affordable art-to-go.
