Local before arrival
The entrance to the Kunstbau is behind the Propylaea at the Königsplatz, marked by white container structures—a soothing contrast to the monumental buildings on the Königsplatz. The unused mezzanine between the U-Bahn station and street level was converted into an exhibition space by architect Uwe Kiessler.
