The translated name of this popular bar on the edge of Trastevere is “Brakes and Clutches”—apt since the building used to be an automobile repair shop. Inside, however, you won’t see a trace of its former life. The interior is modern, combining old furniture with contemporary design. A large selection of aperitifs is served in the early evening. Weather permitting, many guests choose to enjoy their drinks in the small square outside the bar.
