Local before arrival
New York’s green lungs also play host to a small zoo – the second oldest in the United States in fact! The 6.5-acre park recreates various climate-zones: the rainforest house is tropical and warm, the penguins are kept nice and cool in their habitat. The penguin and sea lion feedings are especially popular with children, and there is a petting zoo with goats and sheep.
