Local before arrival
1999 marked the year that construction began on Wienerberg City, a group of residential and commercial high-rise buildings surrounding a newly designed lake and park in the Favoriten district. In 2001 the Vienna Twin Towers by Massimiliano Fuksas were the first buildings to be completed. The complex also includes the City Lofts designed by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, business apartments by Cuno Brullmann, and the Monte Verde apartment tower by Albert Wimmer with its green glas and ceramic façade and Vienna’s highest swimming pool.
